The Home was opened in 1985 as a result of a successful fundraising program in the townships of Cohuna, Leitchville, Gunbower and surrounding districts. In 1994 two extra beds were added to make a sixteen (16) bed Nursing Home. Other minor renovations were also made at this time to improve our facility.

The Cohuna Community Nursing Home is governed by a Board of 12 community representatives. The home is fully accreditated, meeting all expected regulatory standards.

Our Mission Statement is to achieve holistic care to our residents by;
