and spiritual support.

patients/residents and/or visitors with regard to Hospital / Nursing Home
facilities and services.

information. This includes medical records and those documents and registers
not normally regarded as being part of the medical records.

CONTROL PHILOSOPHY
It is the Policy of
the Operating Room/Infection Control (Combined) program of the Cohuna
District Hospital, through surveillance and education to provide an environment
both hygienic and free from the risk of infection.

This institution recognises
its obligations and attaches the greatest importance to the occupational
health and safety of its employees and the safety of its patients and
of all other persons who may visit the premises.
PATHOLOGY
SERVICES
In the provision of
pathology services, any pathology for hospital (public/medicare) patients
is sent to St. John of God Pathology located at the Kerang District Hospital.
