HOSPITAL REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The hospital redevelopment program has greatly enhanced the buildings and infrastructure across both the hospital and the nursing home costing in excess of $650,000,  $600,000 was derived from locally raised funds which included the improved Nursing Home environment for residents and visitors, privacy for acute ward clinical staff, improved shower facilities, an expanded and new dialysis unit and additional office accommodation have all been welcomed.

CDH SERVICE PLANNING

In the coming months the future models of care and clinical priorities of CDH will be subject to extensive service planning and will portray how our historically based range of services align with the population health needs of the community. This will involve consultation with local stakeholders, neighbouring health providers, the Department of Health and most importantly, the local community.

CDH VALUES

The 'Values In Action' have been developed to provide direction and guidance for a value-based approach to work and professional relationships expected of all managers and staff.  The 'staff values' were developed during a survey earlier in the year.
