Cohuna is a picturesque rural town located on the waters of the Gunbower Creek in the North of Victoria between Echuca and Kerang.  Cohuna District Hospital is one of the main employer's within the town and surrounding area.  Together, staff work in a team environment to ensure the best possible care is delivered and the best possible outcomes achieved for all patients.

         

Cohuna District Hospital does not employ Hospital Medical Officers.  Medical services and on-call coverage is individually contracted with Visiting Medical Officers, who provide a range of services within a scope and capability framework.

 REGISTERED NURSES, ENROLLED NURSES AND DUAL REGISTERED MIDWIVES
Cohuna District Hospital is seeking applications from enthusiastic nurses interested in rural nursing and midwifery to work within the clinical services department of Cohuna District Hospital. (please note only Permanent Residents or Citizens will be considered at this time - Working rights in Australia).                  

The successful applicant/s will work across the facility in all aspects of general nursing in the acute ward, urgent care centre, theatre, dialysis and residential aged care. Midwives will enjoy working in all aspects of midwifery including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal midwifery with the support of dedicated obstetricians.
CDH offer an intensive professional development program that is highly regarded.  Interested parties can commence immediately for full/part time work and the successful applicant/s will need to be available to work all shifts across a 7 day working week.
